Padmé had left Saché and Captain Typho to their search for Sabé, having been called off to an emergency meeting of the Loyalist Party. It hadn't been anything really big, but being that she was one of the three heads of the party, along with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma, it was crucial that she was present at all meetings, scheduled or not. A low-ranking politician from Lexi Dio's homeworld of Uyter had committed a minor crime on Giddean Danu's homeworld of Kuat, and the two were at and odds over what to do with the convicted politician. Bail had called the Loyalists into session, wanting to solve this problem without putting friction between the senators of Uyter and Kuat, friction that might cause them to leave the party. But, luckily, a quick suggested solution from the clever Mon Mothma put an end to the argument. Now, Padmé returned to her residence, feeling a bit exhausted from the day's meetings, along with the aches, pains, and nausea that now plagued her person.

She changed into something with lighter, looser fabric than she had been wearing before, for the gown she had worn to the meeting was beginning to feel tight and suffocating in areas. Her hair remained the same, as her handmaidens were currently off attending to other duties and couldn't attend to her. And of course, her necklace remained as well.

Moving out of her rooms and into the main sitting room, she returned to reviewing the treaties she had been working on the previous day, hoping to get some work done before Anakin returned from whatever was keeping him busy and stole her attention away from her duties. Not that she minded, of course.
